My art practice is inspired by the shapes, colours, textures and processes found in the natural world, using a mixture of installation, film, painting and textiles to explore its representation within a contemporary context. As the awareness of our destructive impact on the environment continually increases, I like to create work that highlights the raw beauty of nature, and provide a reflection that can be interpreted on a surface level as well as provoking a deeper thought process to allude to the intertwining of humans and nature.
